What a shame that The Curious Case of Benjamin Button could not grab even half of the number of its very own nominations... That movie did made my heart melted a little (ahem..). But Slumdog Millionaire, a hit which was tipped to be the favorite big winner even before the curtain calls, had indeed fulfilled the hopes of everyone, by grabbing 8 out of its 10 nominations. I gotta give that movie a go no matter what, I promised myself.
Another hot movie which is thought to be one of the major winners, Milk, on the other hand, could take heart from producing the best Lead actor, Sean Penn. In animation, Wall-E is indeed worthy of its award.

I'd rather watch Frost/Nixon.
It's another great movie but does not get any award this year.
Oh yeah... Frost/Nixon is also one of the movies I'd like to watch!
How could I left out that movie in this post of mine? Politicians were battling it out in that one.
my hometown bestie told me that slumdog millionaire is a very nice movie!! i wanted to watch it too...
Yup yup... That is the hottest movie to be tipped to win big.
And it did happen eventually.
But it is not aired in Malaysia, is it?
I just watched Slumdog Millionaire. Indeed, a very good movie, kudos to the Indians who put up a good show!
And bravo to the director! He certainly used great tricks and stretched his creativity to a great length to accomplish this success.
Not many such movies exist anymore...
