Back to Basics

Despite there is still a week left for Chinese New Year, Chinese New Year celebration in real life is virtually over now, since everyone starts to get back to their usual routine; workers work, students study as usual.

But there is something dilly-dallying my mind, I got these provoking mind teaser from a conversation with one of my relatives in one of the days of Chinese New Year.

Somehow, we got to a topic where we were speaking things about the past, things about what we have encountered, be it happiness or sadness we experienced.

Well, about the content of the conversation.... It's better kept unrevealed. But I hate to say that I'm totally disagree with people who often flush statements such as "Time heals all wounds", "Time recovers"... You know what, time does not really heal.

In a way, it's not true at all. Years later, people could still be terribly sad over something which had occurred in the past. Scars remain.

What we could do to these scars within us is depends solely on what kind of solution we use to face the problem. Time, is just a natural tool where it unveils the obstacles deep within your soul, and it makes it as if the problem does not exist at all, but little do we know that, it still does exist in the bottom of our broken hearts.
