I'm a Couch Popcorns, ain't Potatoes

Movies have been one of the hottest industries since decades ago. When I was a little chit years ago, all I care to watch from the tube is those fascinated cartoons, with the likes of Thundercats, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragonball, and many many more..... When I grew up a little, I even indulged in the world of series which was then role-played by real life actors and actresses such as the old timer McGywer, Spellbinder, Beverly Hills 90210 and many more... All the while, I was watching the series all alone, my peers did not care to join me.

Well, I don't know why, but sometimes I found myself matured faster than my same-age peers at some points in my life, though occasionally I did acted like wild monkey alongside some amigos.

Gradually, I got myself reveled in movies involving wars as well as those involving chaotic and dramatic plots, such as Saving Pirate Ryan, Titanic and so on. After some years, movies which were themed Judgement Day such as The Day After Tomorrow did not impressed me much, there were just too many movies with the same genres during that time, they bored me to death.

Some years later, movies like Pirates of the Caribbean came into the house. Honestly, I used to think of myself being a pirate when I was small, so, watching Johnny Depp slaying enemies which come in monster forms really did rendered me engaged in the movies, but the third installment was such a big let down. But the current involution, where Somali pirates are hijacking international ships in the ocean also fascinate me, crazily, I am longing to see the real life action on how the pirates battle it out with the Navy forces, see how brutally the pirates fight against the so-called good ones with my very eyes. Aye aye, I'm such a weirdo.

For now, I'm digging out old time movies which received a handful amount of highly revered awards, and started pop-corning by myself in my room. Currently, Benjamin Button and Daisy moved me, Hannah Smitzch taught me something, Jamal and Salim revealed the darker side of the third world community.

I thought movies are so magnificent. I just love movies very much.
